Network Infrastructure

Bitstream is connected with 70 Gbps to the biggest independent telecommunication nodes in Wien (Interxion, VIX), Frankfurt (Itenos, New Telco, DE CIX), Amsterdam (AMS IX) and London (LINX, LONAP, LIPEX, SOVEG).

Expanding step by step, today it is transiting traffic based on IP and leasing digital lines to the PoPs in Ljubljana, Zagreb, Belgrade, Sarajevo, Pristina, Skopje, Budapest, Sofia and Timisoara. Its backbone is constantly growing with the ultimate goal of having (1+1) backed up connections to each of the above stated nodes, thus enabling highest possible reliability and quality of service. Its backbone network spans over 16,000 km covering Central, Western and Eastern Europe.

It offers incomparable capacity, range and flexibility, including tailor-made products and services, incorporating dedicated bandwidth, virtual private networks, high speed, Internet transit and Internet access, managed hosting, communication services and media streaming with the use of TDM and DWDM telecommunication delivery systems, exclusively routed through first class European operators.

The capacities of the installed distribution systems reach up to 400 Gbit/s.
